Adding effects to a digital painting can be a lot of fun. Photoshop offers so many options. Today, in this quick tutorial, I am going to show you how to add a “Tilt-Shift Blur” effect to your picture.
No blur effect.
With the “Tilt-Shift Blur” effect.
The effect is subtle, as you can see above.
Just go to the FILTER tab. Select BLUR GALLERY and click on TILT_SHIFT, as shown below.
A new window will appear. Play with the settings. For instance, you can move the four lines up or down, as shown below. This allows you to move the blur, make the blur wider or narrower, etc.
You can rotate the four lines and tilt them to the left or right.
Just experiment.
